What is it?
Our Maintaining Health services provide assistance in the home for a range of activities
which can best be described as helping to ensure the service user can maintain their health
and dietary requirements.
Examples of such activities may include:
- Meal Preparation – Helping to prepare a meal, ensuring there is adequate food for
other times of the day, ensuring all work surfaces are cleaned, etc.
- Assistance with medicines – collect prescriptions, provide medication assistance
It may be the case that the day–to– day management of these tasks present a significant
challenge to the service user and assistance with them can be a very valuable service.
